Horse riding along the beach?
Please take the tides and the times allowed for riders into account:
- Galloping along our wide beaches is most fun at low tid. Check the tides and pay close attention to the information boards at each beach entrance for any (temporary) rules.
- From 15 June to 20 September inclusive, horse riding on the beach between H. Consciencelaan and the border with Sint-Idesbald is prohibited between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Do not forget your identification number
Want to explore De Panne on horseback?
If so, an identification number must always be clearly displayed on both sides of your horse.
You can purchase this identification number at the De Panne Tourist Office:
- Saddle pad with embroidered number: €70
- Plastic number (to attach to your saddle pad yourself): €25
Practical information
Visit the Visit De Panne information desk and bring the rider’s details. You can take the saddle pad and/or identification number with you straight away.
