On your route
The Westerpunt is a 6-metre-high architectural gem on the promenade towards France. Designed by Studio MOTO, it offers a symbolic connection between sea, dunes and residents, with a breathtaking 360-degree view beside the dunes and the Westhoek reserve.
The Westhoek nature reserve is the oldest continuous dune area on our coast. Make your way to the westernmost tip of the coastline and take in the impressive dunes of De Westhoek, tucked between De Panne and the French border. You can roam in the adventure zone and might even spot a Scottish Highland cow or a konik horse.
Parking
You can easily park in the car park at the Duinpanne visitor centre.
Toilets
Need a toilet? You can use the toilets at Duinpanne.
