On your route
Calmeynbos is a delightful 66-hectare woodland for walking, cycling, mountain biking or horse riding. This dune forest is home to a rich variety of plants and animals. On a warm summer’s day, it is the perfect place to seek out the shade and wander to your heart’s content.
The Oosthoekduinen cover 80 hectares of varied dunes and woodland, where dry moss dunes and dune grasslands set the scene. Children can romp to their heart’s content in one of the area’s play zones. Along the picturesque Artiestenpad, you discover the beautiful Duinzoom Oosthoek, one of the few intact dune-polder transitions still remaining.
